Camera Critters #5

The Tropical Bird House was closed for renovations all summer; but we didn’t mind too much because we had the fabulous budgie exhibit to visit. Now that the budgies have gone inside for the winter we are enjoying the renovated Tropical Bird House with it’s free flying aviary. These Lorikeets were aware of us but were too determined to eat their recently delivered fruit fest to leave.

The lorikeets do seem rather taken with their dinner, don’t they? I always like watching them when we visit Australia, but they are noisy!
