A Question

An important question, no not about electronic cigarettes, about New Year’s resolutions. Do you make them? Why? Why not?

Last year for the first time in a long time I made a resolution. The resolution was to let go of all but two of those apps on facebook and myspace that suck up time and leave you wondering where the day went. I choose two that the whole family enjoyed to keep and the rest were going. And I did it! In fact by August of this year I wasn’t playing any apps at all. Then I went online in early December to collect some addresses and couldn’t resist playing with apps I had left, next thing I knew we were all playing and then… Well, you can read about it what happened next at Grandma’s Goulash, it’s too embarrassing to tell here.

So while I’ve held to the letter of my resolution, I’m not so sure I’ve held to the intent. I don’t really have any plans for resolutions this year, unless of course I want to try and kill this renewed app addiction; but it’s still pretty new and fun so I don’t think so.
