Teaser Tuesdays #9
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly book meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! I just started this one so this is really more of a random quote, it just caught my eye and gave me a laugh.
My Teaser:
“Now don’t you go looking at me like that, missy. It don’t hurt to strut your stuff when you got something to strut. If the good Lord wanted us gals to looking like a pillow with the stuffing knocked out of it, He wouldn’t have built us the way He did.”

Hmm..this is interesting. I haven’t read anything by her and happen to have a book sitting on my counter (haven’t read yet) which my sister passed along. Seeing I have the concentration span of a gnat lately..I’m more what you call, selective? But, I will cooperate..do you leave a link to your own page with the details?

Very interesting teaser! I had to go find out more about this book and the one before it. How sad that so many children enter the foster care system under such circumstances.
