We’ve been lost in Super Poke Pets land today trying to get all our Easter eggs cracked. I’ve got one pet left with a few cracks to go. Very engrossing and much more fascinating than the Idol results show. As usual it was a little long on gab and short on content. Katie, Didi, and Tim made up the bottom 3, Katie went back first. Then Tim is safe and Didi sings for her life, unsuccessfully. Next week it’s the Top 9 singing the songs of Lennon and McCartney.

I should have posted some writing on Friday, and a monochrome photo yesterday, but I didn’t. Instead I have spent approximately thirty-six hours trying to get our Super Poke Pet Club into the five star point range.

I didn’t do it by myself, thank goodness, I took my mother with me on this insane journey. Did we make it you ask, well, we think so but it will be a little while before all the calculations are done.

Why are did we do this, I don’t know for sure. I think it’s an illness, an addiction of immense porportions. It has this insidous way of taking over our time and keeping us trapped in the world of tiny giggling virtual pets.

I suppose there are things that I could be doing with my time, like looking for an anti aging product, or cleaning the house, or raking the damp leaves from the lawn. But none of them will giggle for me and give me coins to spend on cute little virtual items for my cute little virtual world.

Oh well, I’m off to search for a mono and a poem for the weekend, wish me luck.
